Websightings: David Dayan Fisher on PEOPLE Pets

POSTED BY elaine ON November 30, 2010

From the First Dog, Bo Obama, to the family pets of Denise Richards, Rachael Ray and the Kardashians, if it’s a Hollywood pooch, PEOPLE Pets covers it. So we were thrilled that PR by the Book client and actor David Dayan Fisher was featured yesterday as well! David is currently a guest star in the show NCIS, playing CIA agent Trent Kort. A London native, David’s television resume includes the shows 24, Medium, Charmed and Numb3rs. He was also in the film National Treasure with Nicholas Cage.

But David would say his greatest accomplishment has been rescuing his dogs Burton and Monkey. He fueled his passion for rescue dogs into his new children’s book, Puppy School. Fifty percent of the proceeds from the first 6 months’ sales of Puppy School, are being donated to In Defense of Animals (IDA). We love an author with a good cause!

How to (and why you should!) rock Twitter

Twitter is hands down the most essential networking tool for authors. Yet, we get so many questions from the Twitter-resistant: Why should I be on Twitter? So what should I tell people? This seems futile, why am I doing this again?
Twitter is like blogging, but it’s interactive. You post bite-sized updates and converse [...]
