It’s true! PR By the Book — specifically I (Tolly Moseley) and our fearless leader / publicity director, Marika Flatt, are headed to Chicago April 10 through 12.
Marika will be a featured speaker at the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention, which hosts readers, published authors, aspiring ones, booksellers, publishers, agents, editors, and cover models. Wonder if she’ll run into Fabio while she’s there? (Crosses fingers).
Meanwhile, I will be skipping about the city, busting out Fosse moves while belting out: “And all that JAZZZZZ!” No I’m just kidding, I’m actually meeting with media: Tom Barnas of WGN-TV, Shantell Jamison of Vocalo, the crews at Moody Midday Connection and In the Market with Janet Parshall, and more. Plus, we’re hanging out with our author / James Beard Award-nominated Kari Underly! Talk about a party.
I’m super eager to meet with more foodies, lifestyle media, and just plain awesome folks while we’re out there. Got any suggestions? Leave your thoughts below in the comments!

Imagine a service like Netflix for e-books. Or a social media savvy library, where there’s never a wait and authors/publishers actually stand to profit each time a book is loaned. If the library + online retailers had a baby, it might be The Readerie, an upcoming service for the renting, reading, and sharing of e-books. [...]
