Updates from The Nobelity Project

POSTED BY prbythebook ON December 27, 2012

We love what The Nobelity Project does year-round and want to share a fun event they have coming up in 2013.

On February 10 at the Four Seasons Austin, we honor Kris Kristofferson with the Feed the Peace Award and a tribute concert from some great Texas musicians. Join us for a fantastic evening with Ray Benson, Joe Ely, Pat Green, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Butch Hancock, Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis, and the man himself – Kris Kristofferson!

Seats are going fast! Click here for table and ticket information.

Here’s what The Nobelity Project has helped make happen in 2012:

The Kenya Schools Fund has built water projects, classrooms, science labs and libraries at 17 rural Kenyan schools. This week they shipped 13,000 books to Kenya for 13 new libraries!
Let There Be Sight – Turk Pipkin’s short film for the Seva Foundation, helped to fund surgeries to restore sight to 5,000 blind people.
Replant the Park! – The Nobelity Project’s partnership with Bastrop State Bark has already begun to plant 225,000 seedlings to restore the burned Lost Pines forest.

Thank you for making these projects, and many more, a reality.
A year-end donation will help continue their  global education, health and environmental initiatives in 2013. Together, we are working for a better way!

In a fast paced world, we forget the social graces of wooing a date/reader and settle into the bad habit of overly verbose […]
