Campaigns include strategy development, writing press materials, media pitching, follow up, and the scheduling of interviews and scouting journalists' queries on a daily basis.
Radio Campaign
PR by the Book, LLC prides itself on valuable contacts with radio producers and hosts across the country. If you are interested in conducting as many radio phone interviews as possible, we can arrange a radio "tour" that you can do from home and can be heard on radio stations from coast-to-coast.
Print Campaign
Some of our business clients notice that print media (magazines, dailies, weeklies) is the best medium for them to get the most exposure. Therefore, we offer print-only campaigns for businesses and product exposure.
Development of Press Materials
PR by the Book writes and edits press materials (including Associated Press style releases, Broadcast releases for radio and television, online press pitches, media advisories, bios, and Sample Media Questions), keeping your business in front of the media.
Constant Connections Campaign
As part of the PR Maintenance Campaign, you will be included on our "Experts List", which is distributed to media representatives on a daily basis. We will scout Profnet queries for you on a daily basis, looking for stories that you will fit as an expert source, and will continue to pitch you to media that is appropriate as we come across those opportunities. This campaign is only offered as a follow-up to a full-scale or tour campaign.
PR Consulting
Consulting services include: strategy development, press material generation, and book promotion advice, among other types of consulting. Flatt has consulted many authors and small publishers on PR plans, launch dates and strategy and publicity execution, among other topics.

Searching editorial calendars- Finding creative ways to make your product or business relevant and timely to the media is key to getting great coverage. PR by the Book will comb the editorial calendars for topics relevant to your business. Magazines want publicists to pitch them stories that align with what they are already scheduled to cover in their editorial calendars.
Media Pitching- PR by the Book publicists pitch your story or product to print, radio, TV and online media outlets on a daily basis. This is done through specialized list pitching, personalized email, phone calls, in-depth research, more emails, more phone calls, our Experts List that is sent to media daily, etc.
Responding to journalists’ queries—PR by the Book subscribes to several resources where we comb through journalists’ queries on a daily basis, looking for stories that fit with you and your topic. We have a very high success rate in scoring print media for our clients through responding to these queries.
