Why do you need to be doing this?
- Creating Content helps supports your business goals
- Feedback from blog readers and social media followers can be used as your own market research
- Become an information source for your industry
- Extend and control your online brand
- Introduce people to your personality and other interests
Tips on blogging/content marketing:
- Fine your own voice and your tone
- Avoid polarizing topics as best you can
- Find other experts and to connect with and utilize as guests
- Use calendars to avoid getting to each week without any ideas for blog posts
- Photos, videos and links are especially good for engaging content
- Stay active on social media!
