HarperCollins Children’s Books had some great honors (some of the most notable awards, even) for several of their titles at the latest Midwinter Meeting of the American Library Association. Aaaand here they are:
Newbery Medal Winner: The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate

Caldecott Honor: Extra Yarn by Mac Barnett, illustrated by Jon Klassen

Printz Honor: Dodger by Terry Pratchett

Schneider Family Book Award: A Dog Called Homeless by Sarah Lean

Geisel Honor: Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons by James Dean, story by Eric Litwin

Morris Award Finalist: The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily M. Danforth
