Websighting: Phil Cooke on Wired Magazine’s GeekDad blog
POSTED BY prbythebook ON June 13, 2011
This month, we’ve had the pleasure of working with author Phil Cooke on the “Disconnect to Reconnect” campaign, a 24-hour challenge for dads (and families) to unplug from technology and reconnect with one another on Father’s Day. Yes, that’s right – no mobile phones, television, video/computer games, and absolutely no Internet for a full 24 hours!
We are thrilled have James Floyd Kelly of GeekDad on board with this challenge. GeekDad, an extension of Wired Magazine, is a blog about “parenting in the digital age, and raising our kids in our own geeky image.” See the full GeekDad article here.
Read more about the challenge at FoxNews.com and on The Huffington Post.
You can follow GeekDad on Twitter: @wiredgeekdad, and the challenge on Twitter using hashtag #disconnect2reconnect.
