POSTED BY stephanie ON May 17, 2012
Last night in L.A., PR by the Book’s Tolly Moseley coordinated the press conference for a very special a sold-out event with Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, and Robert V. Taylor, author of the new book A New Way to Be Human.
The event, held at Los Angeles County Museum of Art, was sponsored by Girard-Perregaux, Elizabeth Wiatt, Maggie and Trevor Neilson, and Global Philanthropy Group.
The focus of the discussion: finding happiness and fulfillment, making the world a better place, and embracing a new, transformative way of feeling fully alive. The conversation was moderated by Michael Govan, LACMA CEO and Wallis Annenberg Director. Tutu and Taylor also shared their rich personal history: How they met in South Africa, their anti-Apartheid work together, and their continued partnership toward peace and joy for each human being.
We’d like to thank the media who came out to cover this special launch: NBC Los Angeles, KPCC 89.3, LA Weekly, and many others.
