You, a free Kindle, and the British hat craze

Ever since the Royal Wedding, we’ve all seen how those Brit ladies love their hats.  They’re big.  They’re sculptural.  They make Lady Gaga look downright mainstream.

Well, one British lady we know very well is getting into the Hat Act.  Her name is Lady Kendra Townsend, and she’s the main character of Pirate of My Heart, Jamie Carie’s latest novel.  To celebrate the book’s release next month, Jamie is asking everyone to help choose Kendra’s next hat!

The contest runs now though next Monday, August 22nd.  A panel of judges at B&H Publishing will choose the winning look, and the winner will be notified on August 31.  Guess what the winner gets?

1. A Kindle

2. A signed copy of Pirate of My Heart

3. The grand honor of having Lady Kendra proudly wear their hat during the week of the book’s release, Sept. 1-7!  She will be displayed on the homepage of Jamie’s website for the full week, along with the winner’s name.

All you have to do is choose a hat (from the Internet is OK), or if you’re really crafty, draw one for Kendra to wear.  You can get some ideas here, from hats that have already come in!
